Happy New Year! Can you believe it's already 2010? Hope everyone had a nice relaxing holiday with friends and family. It's winter and FREEZING at Camp Honey Creek today. Think the low this morning was 8 degrees. Katie reports that the creek behind Casa Rio has ice and she plans to do a little ice skating later. The puppies are growing like weeds and doing just great. They don't seem at all concerned about the freezing weather and run around without a care in the world. We are teaching them to go on walks with a leash up to the barn and back and they love all those smells. Sorry there are only 2 photos, they just won't stand still long enough.
We have been busy getting movie invitations ready for our Annual Movie Tour. The schedule will be posted here today ~ keep checking as we post new locations daily. We want to see everyone when we come to your town. Bring a new friend and mark your calendar.
I have also posted the registration for Mother/Daughter weekends on the home page. Register early because these always fill up quickly and we have to close some weekends.
Thanks to everyone who sent us Christmas cards. You wouldn't believe how many we get and it's so nice to be remembered by all our camp friends and family. We especially love the ones with camp photos ~ those rock. Just think, only 6 months until Merry Half Christmas! Are you registered? You don't want to miss the summer of 2010 ~ it will be another good time.

Putter
Hannah Brierty was looking forward to the Christmas break and resting her knee from basketball. She loved the yearbook and calendar and was ready to watch the DVD.
Melissa Hart is loving school and her sorority. Her junior year at LSU is keeping her busy and she has a new nephew.
Britney Wilson is busy with school, work, homework and volunteer work. She has started to ride english again and will jump when her doctor clears her.
