December 4, 2007

We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.  It was really cold at Camp that weekend and we were able to enjoy the fireplace in the Dining Hall with Kathryn & Elisa Schmitt and family.  The yearbook and calendars are at the printer and we hope to have those mailed in a few weeks.  Schmitty is finished with the 1st term DVD and is working on 2nd term.  Hopefully, we will have those mailed by Christmas.  Tell your parents a great Christmas present would be a term at Camp Honey Creek ~ and be sure you are registered.  Send us your news!

Hannah & Cathleen Brierty got some new sheets for Camp and asked their Mom if they could pack them.  They are already looking forward to Camp.  We are too, girls.

Londin Fenner is doing great and says that her Senior year is flying by.  She is missing all her camp friends.  She is a hostess at Chili's in Kerrville and she always gets us a good table!

The Vanderhill girls are all doing well.  Ceili is at A&M majoring in electrical engineering, Shannon can't wait for her Cabin 12 year and Meagan has turned down a trip this summer so she won't miss one day of camp!

Hayley Greenspan is loving 6th grade in Phoenix.  She has made straight A's, is doing competitive cheerleading, and keeps busy with all her friends.  Hayley is looking forward to some cooler weather so they can decorate for Christmas.

Stephanie Lopez sent us a great Thanksgiving message (even though they don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Mexico) and we loved it.

Natalie Bixler is busy with college applications.  She made All-City & and All-Region Choir and was on her way to Lubbock to participate in the championship event for her robotics team.

Kathryn Ripley has applied to UT, Texas Tech, Tulane and the University of Houston and is waiting to hear where she will be next year.  Seems like Kathryn, Patricia Greenlee-Shepherd and Katy Sorkow went to a Dave Matthews concert in September and they had a blast.   The other day in her homeroom, she started singing Kickapoo cheers and people stated looking at her like she was crazy.   They just don't get it do they, Kathryn?

Leigh Cummings hopes to have another cousin from Florida at Camp this summer. Leigh is ready for Camp and may have to arrive one day late ~ you won't be the only one, Leigh.

Stacey & Lacey Parker had a white Thanksgiving when they went home to Snyder.  They enjoyed five inches of snow and a snowball fight.
